Finance Factors chose Anzenna for AI DLP and insider risk management to prevent data loss

The Honolulu lender has to keep sensitive customer data from leaving the company, including through uploads to AI tools. When a bulk set of passport records went to an AI assistant, its security team confirmed within minutes that an IT manager was using an approved tool as part of his job. Day-to-day investigations now close up to 90% faster.

Both bars share one axis in minutes. A day-to-day insider risk investigation that ran 30 minutes to two hours across four or five consoles now closes in five to ten minutes.

One user’s file activity, checked console by console

A lean security team guards the financial and personal records Finance Factors holds for its customers. The evidence it needed was all there, spread across four or five consoles, and pulling it together meant doing the work by hand.

Each tool held one fragment of the story. Working out who moved a file and where it went meant walking all of them, 30 minutes to two hours per case.

I’m a firm believer in defense in depth, and all those tools are great. But we have to go to each one to see certain things, and none of them actually show a full picture.

File uploads to AI tools, tied to the person who made them

Anzenna pulls user, device and file activity out of the tools Finance Factors already runs and lines it up by person. Its browser extension adds data loss prevention (DLP) coverage, recording file uploads as they happen, including uploads to AI tools.

Finance Factors kept every tool it already trusted. When a finding calls for action, the team handles common fixes from the Anzenna console, such as removing software a user should not have installed.

If we see an alert, we can go straight to Anzenna and get the whole picture in one spot, instead of bouncing around all these different consoles.
